We are doing our best to publish as many recordings from the festival as possible. First all the artists need to give us their approval to do so, which can take a couple of days.


YES! Every year, thousands of visitor come by bike. Het Twiske is located just 9 km North of Amsterdam, and coming by bike will take you 30 to maximum 40 minutes. Take the ferry towards ‘Buiksloterweg’ just behind Amsterdam Central Station. Once across the water, the route to the festival will be marked with signs.

Please take the train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk. There will be a shuttle bus service from Amsterdam Sloterdijk station to the festival premises and back all day (leaving from the Orly square on the left side of the station). A ticket for the shuttle bus service costs €8, this ticket will take you back and forth. You can buy the ticket on our website (until Friday) or at the event day itself at the bus station at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The first bus leaves Sloterdijk station at 11:30 AM, the last one will leave the festival premises at 01:00 AM.

The easiest way to get to Het Twiske is via the “Ring West” highway A10 towards Haarlem/ Zaanstad. After the Coentunnel, keep left and follow the signs for E22/A8 in direction Zaanstad/ Purmerend/ Leeuwarden.
Take the first exit: 1. Oostzaan/ Zaandam-zuid/ Het Twiske. Keep left and always follow the sings in direction ‘Het Twiske’.

If you want to use your GPS to come to the festival, please fill in the following destination: Pikpotweg 1, Oostzaan.

Beware that there is limited parking space at Het Twiske. Parking tickets are available during the day of the festival, you can purchase them paying cash at the entrance of the parking lot. There is no overnight parking allowed after the festival.

At Welcome to the Future, you pay for your food and drinks with tokens. You can purchase these tokens using cash, your debit or credit card (Visa, American Express, Master Card) at the clearly signed cashier units.

Yes, lockers are available, every locker fits up to three coats. You can find them right near the entrance.
